How this site uses cookies and how you can control them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Some are needed to make the site work; others help the site owner understand how the site is used. This page explains which ones this site uses and how you can control them.

The cookies this site uses

Strictly necessary cookies (always on). These make the site work, remember your cookie choices, and help keep the contact form secure against spam. The site cannot function properly without them, so they do not require consent.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent). {{If you switch on Google Analytics, keep this section; if not, delete it.}} I use Google Analytics to understand, in an anonymous and aggregated way, how people find and use the site, for example which pages are most read, so I can improve it. These cookies are only set if you accept them. They do not identify you personally to me, and I do not use them for advertising.

I do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and I do not sell any data collected through the site.

How to manage cookies

When you first visit, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time by clicking the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well if you block the necessary ones.
