All prices are a guide. The final fee reflects the ceremony length, location, travel and any extras. I send a clear written quote before you decide.

Funeral and celebration-of-life ceremonies start from £300. I know this is usually a difficult time, so I keep the conversation simple: one clear fee, no hidden charges, and the flexibility to meet at short notice when a family needs me.
The £300 starting fee covers meeting the family, writing and revising the ceremony, liaison with the funeral director and venue, and leading the service. If travel is unusually long or the ceremony requires additional time, I will say so upfront.

Questions about pricing
Why publish prices?
Most people have never booked a celebrant before, and they are working out whether the ceremony fits their budget alongside the venue, flowers, photography and everything else. Publishing a starting price means you can make a quick, informed decision without needing to email first. The final fee depends on the ceremony, the location and any extras, so I always confirm the exact figure before you commit.
Can a funeral plan or funeral director's package cover your fee?
Often, yes. If there is a prepaid funeral plan in place, some or all of my fee may already be covered by it, and I am happy to check that for you. My fee can also sit within a funeral director's package. If you would rather pay me directly, just tell your funeral director you have booked me, and ask them to take my fee out of their package so it is not charged twice. I am always happy to be paid partly through the funeral director or plan and partly direct, whichever is simplest for you at a hard time.
